I came away with so many idea's from my Copic class that this was just another one. I started to do an Art Journal. Been doing other things so its been put aside for now but i am sure i will get back to it.
I did start to put Gesso on the pages but when i added the Glimmer mist i didn't like the effect so they got ripped out and i started again.
All the backgrounds on the next few pages are done with glimmer mist, i did learn not to mix glimmer mist and copic when wet on the same page! Just makes a mess! Great learning new things.
Morning all,
Ok so where do i start. Ok sorry for not posting in a while, its been a very busy few months. We flew down to Melbourne for a 18th Celebration (and and 40 wedding anniversary celebration) and to see our beautiful little neice. I also have just come back from a few days in Brisbane at the Craft show there and doing the Intermediate Copic Class with a fantastic teacher Mandi. Had a great time. Ok so here we go a few posts for today.
The first one is a few mothers day cards and a birthday card for my mum whose birthday falls around the same time.
The stamps are from all that scraps and lala land.
Enjoy
Morning (or afternoon/evening) all,
I hope you all had a fantastic Easter with lots of goodies. As the week starts to draw to an end, its that time again to upload to my blog :)
A close friend of mine is getting married on the weekend and it should be a very fun and exciting day. The girls are all meeting up for diner tonight for a bit of a catch up before the big day. She had a Kitchen tea and didn't want a Hens night so this is something in the middle.
I wanted to put together a little somethime special for her so I did a bridal survival kit. I got all the girls to bring a few items (i divided up the stuff that we wanted in it) and then i have decorated the box. Here is the decorated lid:
The image is greeting farm and the other bits and pieces are just what I had lying around.
Enjoy
