Morning Copic lovers,

I saw this image and i just HAD to have her. She is from Saturated Canery and i have her friend Copica (of which you will see from other posts).
I did the background myself with Copic ink and photo paper. I got this idea from another lovely lady over at the Mad For Markers blog. Think i will be trying this out again.

I am entering her in the following challenges:

Hope you enjoy her...

I came away with so many idea's from my Copic class that this was just another one. I started to do an Art Journal. Been doing other things so its been put aside for now but i am sure i will get back to it.
I did start to put Gesso on the pages but when i added the Glimmer mist i didn't like the effect so they got ripped out and i started again.
All the backgrounds on the next few pages are done with glimmer mist, i did learn not to mix glimmer mist and copic when wet on the same page! Just makes a mess! Great learning new things.

Morning all,

This months challenge over at Mad for Markers is Off the page so i thought i would have a go.
I LOVE my copics and Love using them in everything i do. When i did my Copic Certification Mandi gave us some great ideas for using Copic's on other projects besides paper and ribbon. I couldn't wait to give it a go.
If you don't already know i have a motorbike obsessed other half so thought making him a mug would be the perfect thing to do (I have done mugs in the past with glass paint but they are getting a bit yukky looking after a few years!)
So here it is.
I first stamped the image on the mug using Brillance ink and then baked it in the oven for about 30mins. I left it overnight to dry before i coloured it up with Copcis and baked it again. It has been "resting" on the shelf for about 2 weeks now before i start using it.
While i couldn't blend with the copics i LOVE the effect!

Morning all,

Ok so where do i start. Ok sorry for not posting in a while, its been a very busy few months. We flew down to Melbourne for a 18th Celebration (and and 40 wedding anniversary celebration) and to see our beautiful little neice. I also have just come back from a few days in Brisbane at the Craft show there and doing the Intermediate Copic Class with a fantastic teacher Mandi. Had a great time. Ok so here we go a few posts for today.
The first one is a few mothers day cards and a birthday card for my mum whose birthday falls around the same time.
The stamps are from all that scraps and lala land.
Enjoy

So when i had a tiny bit of free time this month and the last i made these few cards for no reason...

Another birthday another card :)
Here is the card i made. I love this image and she is from All that Scraps and she is so so easy to colour...

Lauren who sits next to me and makes the most amazing cakes celebrated her birthday this month.
We had a great night out and here is the card i made. The image is from Some Odd Girl and her skates are who would have guessed it Demensional magic!
The silver sticker around the Birthday Girl words on the front is something i picked up from spotlight. I LOVE these stickers too :)

So as you know my partner is Matt and we have been together for a while (about 14yrs) but his parents have been together much much longer. This month they celebrated their 40th Wedding anniversary. We went down to Melbourne for a combined 18 birthday (their Grandson) & 40 years together celebration. Here is the card. I choose Red as Ruby is for 40 and the image is from Mo's Digital Pencil.
I didn't have any red letters so i used some plain white chipboard i had and coloured the letters with copic's then added dimentional magic and there you have it. I love my copics and magic lately.

Ok so first i have to say Sorry again. The lighting where i took this photo was shocking and i was in such a hurry when i did it that i didn't have time to take another one.
The image is a digi from all that scraps and was so cute i had to buy her and use her!

Wow how time flies, my partners son is 18!
Here is his card.....
The image is from Kenny K and coloured in with Copics and a bit of Dimensional magic on the boots.
